This smoothie was born out of necessity—and a bit of luck! I usually rely on frozen mangoes or wild blueberries for my smoothies, but my kitchen freezer was out. Determined, I ventured to the garage freezer, rummaged around, and struck gold: a bag of organic mixed berries! Woohoo!

I am always trying to add in more greens for the kids so I tossed in a handful of organic spring mix (thanks, Costco!) and added some protein powder since I’d just finished a workout. The result? A simple, beautiful, and delicious smoothie that checks all the boxes.

When I’m in the mood for plant-based protein, Truvani’s protein powder is my go-to. You can find it here at Walmart or order directly from their site.
