Wild Blueberry Syrup
Ingredients
- 4 cups wild blueberries
- 2 tbsp raw honey
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp arrowroot powder optional
- 3 tsp water optional
Instructions
- In a small pot, combine the wild blueberries, raw honey, and lemon juice. Heat on high, stirring and smashing the berries as they warm.
- In a small cup, mix the arrowroot powder and water until smooth.
- Once the blueberry mixture reaches a boil, stir in the arrowroot mixture (if using).
- Turn off the heat and continue stirring until the syrup thickens slightly.
- If you prefer a thinner syrup, skip the arrowroot powder and water and use as-is.
- Pour the syrup over your pancakes or waffles, and enjoy!
