Lately, I’ve been embracing the quiet magic of early mornings—the time before the kids wake up when the house is still, and I can focus on myself. But as much as I love my me-time, I don’t want to spend it standing in the kitchen, only to end up with cold food by the time everyone else is ready to eat. Enter the Instant Pot: my trusty kitchen companion that makes life so much easier.
The Instant Pot doesn’t always mean “faster,” but it absolutely saves time in ways that matter. No standing at the stove, stirring, or catching oatmeal before it boils over. Instead, I can throw all the ingredients in, set it, and let it work its magic while I edit photos, write blog posts, or simply savor a quiet moment. When everyone’s ready to eat, breakfast is warm, hearty, and waiting for us.
As for the ingredients? I’m using the best of the best:
- Oats: One Degree Organic Sprouted Rolled Oats are my go-to (Costco, Azure Standard, or Amazon are great sources). Sprouted, organic, and gluten-free—what more could you ask for?
- Hemp and Chia Seeds: I get ours at Costco, but Walmart and Amazon have excellent options too. Fun fact: both hemp and chia seeds are complete proteins. How cool is that?
- The Instant Pot: A game-changer for busy mornings. There are plenty of options on Amazon—here’s one I recommend!
This oatmeal recipe has truly changed my mornings. It’s nourishing, delicious, and a breeze to prepare.
